Nanado B Marak later decided to do organic farming so that the pesticide free product could reach the plate of the people and their health would never be in danger.  As a result, their black pepper is in great demand both domestically and internationally.  In Meghalaya, where the Nanados do agriculture, there are dense forests.  When he tried to start agriculture, forests came in his way.  He refused to cut the trees of the forest because it seriously harms the environment.

His commitment towards organic farming, earning Rs 19 lakh, was also appreciated by the government.  With this honour, he has been a source of encouragement to other farmers.  Let us tell you that in the year 2019, Nanado B Marak earned more than 19 lakhs from the sale of black pepper planted in his land.  According to Nanado, fertilizers are used to provide energy to the plants.  As a result, high quality fertilizers must be added to the plant consistently.  10-20 kg of manure is required for each pepper plant.  Cow dung or vermi compost manure can be used.

Sandalwood trees can be prepared in two ways.  The first is organic farming and the second is prepared in a traditional way.  It takes about 10 to 15 years to prepare sandalwood trees in an organic way and it takes about 20 to 25 years to grow a tree in the traditional way.
 It does not require any external protection for the first 8 years.  After that it starts smelling.  Therefore, in such a situation, there is a fear of being cut secretly.  Therefore, you have to keep the tree away from animals and other people till it is completely ready.  Its trees can be grown everywhere except in sandy and snowy areas.

If you plant a sandalwood plant, then it will be available in any good nursery for Rs 100 to Rs 150.  The sandalwood plant is parasitic, that is, it cannot survive in the ground itself.  He needs someone's support to survive. That is, a host plant is needed with him.
 This host plant comes in 50-60 rupees.  When the tree becomes big, the farmer can easily cut 15-20 kg of wood from it every year.  This wood is sold in the market for about 30 thousand rupees per kg.  In such a situation, you can earn about 5 lakh rupees every year by planting a tree.

If you are also making up your mind for sandalwood farming, then know one more thing.  In the year 2017, the government has completely banned the sale and purchase of sandalwood by making a law.  That is, you can plant sandalwood trees but you can sell its wood only to the government.  Even after doing this, there is a profit ranging from lakhs to crores of rupees every year.  At the same time, legal action can also be taken for buying or selling sandalwood from someone else.
